Charity: Ronald McDonald House

Broad Ripple Lodge #643 had the great privilege to feed 49 parents, grandparents and children at The Ronald McDonald House, Saturday April 29th.

Families, weary from caring for their sick children, were treated to a warm meal of chicken, green bean casserole, sour cream noodles and apple crisp. This small gesture was designed to give comfort to families who are literally living at the bedside of their sick kids at Riley Hospital for Children.

Helping people in their time of need, is not only a righteous cause, but one that goes to the heart of what it means to be a Mason. We would like to recognize these Brothers for making a difference: Dave Reynolds, Jerry Lande, Brian Ross, Collin Denhart, WB Michael DeWitt, Steve Mayflower, Noah Ryder, Sean Maple, Adam Rude, and Jacob Scherer.

Cooking for the families at The Ronald McDonald House at Riley Hospital for Children is a tradition that not only feeds these deserving souls, but feeds our souls as well. We look forward to our next visit in 2018.

Bro Steve Mayflower

I came to Masonry as a way to meet some new friends. But in a short time, my new Brothers and the Lodge became a very important part of my life. The men I admire the most are my Masonic Brothers.

Past Master WB Jacob Mann

Broad Ripple Lodge taught me how quickly men can become close friends, and form lifelong bonds. I feel I’ve known many of my fellow masons for a much longer time than I have actually been involved.

Why I Became a Worshipful Master

Why I Became a Worshipful Master

I joined a Masonic lodge to make new friends. In this day and age it can be difficult to develop constant predictable relationships with other people. In my life it seemed like every time I made a friend they ended up moving away, I lost interest or they were just too...

Between the baked potatoes, chili, and appetizers we had options for everyone to enjoy great food and fellowship. The chili was, of course, the star of the day with a wide spread of bubbling pots!
