Ronald McDonald dinner

brlodgeBrethren,
On Saturday March 15th, we will exercising one of the noblest tenets of our fraternity, that of charity. We will be preparing and serving food to upwards of 50 people at the Ronald McDonald house. Matt Scherer and I will be coordinating this effort.
Taken directly from the information given to me by the Ronald McDonald house:
The Ronald McDonald House inside Riley Hospital provides a supportive
home-away-from-home for families of seriously ill or injured children
receiving medical care at the hospital. Families using our services are
stressed and preoccupied with their child’s medical condition and they greatly
appreciate you sharing your love and talent by providing a “home cooked”
meal for them. Many families may be hours away from home and have
financial constraints as well. They may not know where their next meal will
come from. No family is ever asked to pay for a meal or turned away for their
inability to pay. This is where you come in.
The serving crew must be limited to 12 people, but all those who volunteer may help prepare the meal. OnMarch 15th meet myself and Matt Scherer at Lodge for fellowship and charity as we prepare a great meal for the Ronald McDonald House.
Fraternally Yours in Service,
Nicholas David Barber

WB Steve Mayflower

Bro Steve Mayflower

I came to Masonry as a way to meet some new friends. But in a short time, my new Brothers and the Lodge became a very important part of my life. The men I admire the most are my Masonic Brothers.

Broad Ripple Lodge taught me how quickly men can become close friends, and form lifelong bonds. I feel I’ve known many of my fellow masons for a much longer time than I have actually been involved.
