Things are always changing on the internet, and it’s no different with Facebook. To help raise revenue, the social networking website now offers “pages” (normally companies with a Facebook presence) the option to promote posts and events.
There are two things you can do to help out the lodge. First, make sure you get to see all of our updates, by clicking Like, and then hovering your mouse over it to get the drop down pictured here, and select Show in News Feed (click the picture for a larger version)

The next thing you can do to help our posts reach more of the people who have liked us (and not completed the step above just yet) is to interact with us as much as possible. When the lodge posts an event, makes a status update, make sure you comment/share/like those items. Doing so helps Facebook see the value in the posts from the page, and will present it to more people. By re-sharing our updates, you also reach some of the same people who Like Broad Ripple Lodge, who might not have seen it otherwise. Finally, sharing and commenting helps promote our great fraternity to those who don’t know anything about it.
